Kids Across America - Higher Ground (Sunday & Monday)
We arrived at the Score Complex yesterday around 5 or 6 in the evening. After getting settled into our rooms and having a nice dinner, we spent time with devos and then off to bed for a full day the next day.
Monday we went to 2 different sugar cane villages and ministered to the children there. Crowds of kids came running out when we arrived and were thrilled to have us there to play with them. We shared Bible stories, played games, danced our praise dance, and shared testimony with them. In the 2nd village we did some crafts with them, played more games, and shared the gospel. All of the HG kids are doing great and have great attitudes, even though it is extremely hot here.
We were told that the Domincan Republic is the 2nd poorest country, next to Haiti, so there was much ministry to do. The people were friendly and loving and you would be proud of the HG kids and their serve.
