SCORE International Guys Basketball - Wednesday
On Wednesday, June 18th, we started out the morning by playing a game against the Mauricio Baez club team. They were insanely good and they absolutely whooped us but we still had fun. Also, after the game Jeff Yoder shared his testimony, and he did a really good job on it. After that we visited the handicapped orphanage in the capital. It was, needless to say, a very eye-opening experience for all of us. It went very well though and we were able to spend a lot of quality time with the children. While we were in the capital we stopped at a restaurant that was pretty much a “hole in the wall” but it still had some of the best fried chicken most of us have ever had. When we were finished eating we stopped off at the Straw Market and did some shopping. After all that we were pretty much whooped, so we just hung out around the hotel the rest of the day and rested up. Other than that, the trip is still going great, we are reaching out to a ton of people and we are having a great time.
