Cornerstone University Softball - Monday
Greetings from the DR! Monday was a great day. We have had beautiful weather! It is the rainy season and there was some concern over too much rain to play, but it has been great. We had the morning to go sight seeing and shopping at the market, went to McDonald’s for lunch! Yes! I said McDonalds! John was in all his glory! =) We then played games yesterday afternoon at the home field of one of the DR teams. What an experience! We won 1, lost 1, but the people were amazing. Kids everywhere! On the dugouts, in the trees, in the bleachers, in front of the fences, out of the fences, people everywhere! We had Emily F. and Christi C. share testimonies and Jim finished with the Gospel. Wow! We handed out tracts with response cards and gave out laminated Bible verses to those who turned in response cards. I haven’t heard a number of how many responded, but at least 60 or more heard the gospel. God is good! Tomorrow we go to a village out by the sugar cane fields. Please keep praying!
