Cornerstone University Softball - Sunday
Greetings from the DR! Thanks again for all your prayers and support. We had an awesome day attending church with a DR body of believers. We worshiped in Spanish and got to sing “Wonderful Words of Life” and “Shout to the North” (only songs we recognized) and then they had an interpreter for the sermon. It is Mother’s Day here, so we got to hear how to honor our mothers! I asked where my Mother’s Day Gifts were, but I didn’t get anything! =) We played at 3:00pm and won our game against Palm Beach Atlantic. They don’t have all of their players with them and had to play out of their normal positions, so it was comical at times. If we played them during the season, I know it would be much tighter competition. We had devotions tonite with PBA and the women’s basketball team from Trinity Christian College, Chicago, IL. It is so encouraging to be with so many young women with a passion for the Lord. Tomorrow we have time at the market and play a double-header against a DR Team in the afternoon. We are choosing tonite what places we will be going for our ministry opportunities this week. Please pray God works in our own lives, as well as those around us. Thanks for you support! We love you!
