Cedarville Univ Womens Soccer - Friday
Friday:
The week has flown by so quickly and we are sad that this is our last full day here. We had a blast at
Catalina Island, and some of the girls got a little too much sun.
Our 45 minute boat ride was a sight in and of itself, and only two girls got sick from the waves.
Right before we got to the island, the boat stopped and we all got the chance to jump off of the second level into the water.
They also let us snorkel there in the 25 feet deep water.
What an amazing sight!
We then headed to shore where we swam once again and just relaxed in the sunshine.
About one o’clock, we headed to the buffet where we ate way too much food.
They had an assortment of fresh fruit, grilled chicken on the bone, beef, rice, and much more.
After lunch we went shopping at the shops set up on the beach and got some great deals!
The afternoon went by way too fast, but it was definitely worth the money.
We had some time to relax once we got back and were able to get some ice cream from a local restaurant after dinner. Some of the girls also went tarantula hunting after dark and saw four of them. We are sad we have to leave tomorrow but are so grateful for the time God has given us to minister to the people here in the Dominican.
Keep us in your prayers as we fly back tomorrow. Hopefully our trip back will be less eventful than our trip here.
